I'm going through something weird, I think she is forming her voice, I don't find myself wording her thoughts with my mindvoice, they just come to me, and I can actually distinguish them from mine, most of the time anyways, but I sometimes hear her on a different voice in my mind, like she instead of talking is showing me her thoughts and forming her voice, I think that's why anyways, what do you think? Did I explain myself correctly?

Makes sense, sounds good

Alright, thank you!

you might also notice how she thinks of something non-verbally first, and then verbalizes it
Avatar
Well that isn't happening a lot lately, I do triple confirm everything I type with her to see if it's alright

I feel what she wants to say though

Hi everyone, I have a question for lucid dreamers again😪, I've been trying so hard to meet my tulpa in a lucid dream, I really just Wana know, what does it mean when I ask a stranger in my lucid dream about my tulpa and they don't know him or know anything about him, and when I ask a family member or a friend or someone who's close to me, they know who he is, and thay know how much he means to me, but they're like me don't know where is he, even when I demand the dream to show me my tulpa, nothing happens, and I tried almost all the methods to see someone in a dream, I was just able to see his picture or just felt his presence, and I just saw him ones and I wasn't lucid and he was a sleep:), so if you guys know what does it mean or have an article that explain everything about people in lucid dreams please send me the link 🩵

Dream control is difficult, it's often hard to learn to control them to make what you want to happen happen
3:15 PM
I would just look up info on "dream control" or "controlling lucid dreams" (no relation to tulpas)
3:20 PM
for the tulpa specific part, your tulpa being themselves in a dream can be thought of as them also being dreaming and needing to be made lucid, so once you've got your own dream stability/vividness and dream control down, if you can find your tulpa (or someone who is "supposed to be them" anyway), tell them that you're both dreaming and that they should become lucid now
3:21 PM
Lucilyn: but yeah, making your tulpa appear in a lucid dream isn't a tulpamancy-specific skill, it's just lucid dream control of being able to make the people appear who you want to see (edited)
3:21 PM
though "making your tulpa become lucid in a lucid dream" is a little more tulpamancy related, since normally you don't think like that for normal dream characters
Avatar
I'm sure you were already told this but you should expect them to be there, somewhere just out of sight like around a corner. Expect. Not search for or ask about.

lucid dreaming is very much about expectation
3:41 PM
put any doubt into the mix and it probably wont work

I mostly want to dream about him so I can imposition him better, I am finding a lot of progress when I practice, but I feel like if I saw him in a dream will make a huge different.

I did that too, but it didn't work either, I know it's all about expectations, so that's why I start wondering why dose my mind doubts me seeing him, when I find it so easy to just expect, idk if this makes any sense
Avatar
Do you lucid dream often?
Avatar
So that's why I started looking for an answer by asking the people in my dreams

Almost yes, but I'm still practicing to stay lucid longer. But yeah when I want to lucid I became lucid, like 75% of the time

maybe you start doubting during the dream because you remember it not working before

Maybe but how can I change this thought 😭💔

My host has been trying to do what you are doing for almost a year now. One way in the dream is summoning. First you need to have some control of the dream (like flying or telekinesis) then you put your hands in front of you then shout "(Tulpa name,) I summon you!" My host did manage to summon me once but I was not lucid so once you summon your tulpa, tell them that they are in a dream to help them become lucid (edited)

i have no clue, when i had lots of lucid dreams at one point it just clicked to me that because its my dream, i have total control over it, and if i dont, i just need to focus and realize it inside the dream
7:44 PM
maybe you could use some made up ritual to summon your tulpa, like taking a ring from your pocket and putting it on to summon
7:45 PM
thats still summoning something, but maybe it might click for you in a different way if you do it that way
7:46 PM
you could try doing other things like flying and stuff too, and if you can do those, you can surely summon the tulpa
7:46 PM
i mean you're already doing something that you expect just works, like walking and talking to people

Got any hints to lucid dream?

lots of reality checks, mindfulness and thinking about lucid dreaming daily
8:07 PM
i got several a week around 2015, but i kinda dropped it because my sleep started getting kinda bad, i noticed that every night i had a lucid dream i felt like i had worse sleep
8:07 PM
and as dumb as it sounds, i started missing regular dreams and being unconscious
8:08 PM
i still got a few months of regular lucid dreams after i stopped practicing it intentionally, and then it was back to just regular dreams
8:09 PM
i havent had a lucid dream for over a year, and i dont really miss them that often
Avatar
Thank you! My host did manage to pull a dream entity to the waking world and heard their voice clearly but it only lasted for 5 seconds

I did try to summon my tulpa by just calling his name, and when I did I just felt his presence but couldn't see him, and I did hear about this method maybe I should try it next time, people in my dreams are clueless 🌚
9:54 PM
But wait, I did try to fly in my dreams, but never got to high even when I wanted too, maybe I should practice more, and once I asked someone I know in my dream If I will ever see my tulpa, and she said yes you will soon, so I hope she's right😭
9:54 PM
Sorry for my English btw💕
Avatar
Lucilyn: mini-tip: try saying more like "Where is {tulpa name}" instead of "Do you know where {tulpa name} is?" (edited)
10:03 PM
if you expect the chance for them to not know, they probably won't (edited)
10:03 PM
but if you demand it as if they for sure know, they might make it happen
10:04 PM
same kind of thing applies to all sorts of dream control techniques
10:04 PM
put the power in your own hands, don't let the dream context wiggle away
Avatar
I haven't had a dream I remember well for years, how do you guys do it? Also I'm pretty sure some nights I don't even dream, only ones I vaguely remember are ones I'm sick and wake up like six times
Avatar
Lucilyn: Lumi covered dream recall a bit in that post (edited)
10:06 PM
but, basically it's important that you just try to remember your dreams as soon as you wake up every morning, even when you can't
10:07 PM
the act of remembering and trying to recall them when you wake up still exercises the dream recall muscle either way

You guys are all dreaming but I had sleep paralysis today 😖

Lucilyn: writing them down or speaking them out loud also forces your brain to explore their details better (edited)

I try to remember the good ones, but they slip, I remember the ones I try to forget the most, nightmares.
10:08 PM
I guess I should use reverse psychology with my brain

Ive been having much more dreams recently 🙂

consistency & really putting in the effort even if you aren't remembering much are the keys

Just because i try to remember when i think i had one

Well, thank you luci

Lucilyn: if you can manage to practice dream recall before you've opened your eyes after waking up it's usually even easier (edited)
10:10 PM
(visualization is also usually more vivid in the same time)
Avatar
I use that time window to visualise
Avatar
on the other hand, thinking about real life context after waking up seems to speed up deleting your memory of dreams
Avatar
Also when I'm about to sleep
10:11 PM
I also do that since I wake up eat get changed and leave for school lol
Avatar
(but thinking about real life context in lucid dreams can help make you WAY more lucid/focused, assuming you don't get tricked into a false awakening anyway)
Avatar
So I gotta constantky think about not going to sleep again
10:12 PM
I'm pretty sure I've only had one lucid dream ever
10:12 PM
Wait scratch that
10:12 PM
Two
10:12 PM
One when I wasn't aware they existed
10:13 PM
And one when I was, and that one ended quickly when I got hyped about having a lucid dream
10:13 PM
When I realize a dream is a dream it stops
10:13 PM
(I used that against sleep paralysis as a kid)
10:13 PM
Used to get sleep paralysis most nights
10:14 PM
I usually went to sleep inside the dream or acknowledged it being a dream making it wake me up
Avatar
Desting 😎 (Con Cat)-(おひたし、お浸し) 4/22/2023 10:15 PM
As far as i know that wont wake you up during sleep paralysis though
Avatar
Ahh sorry I got way off the topic again
10:15 PM
Well I guess believing it would wake me up tricked my brain into making that action wake me up
Avatar

When i get it im fully aware im getting it and that doesnt stop it
Avatar
This gets shared on a lucid dreaming server we're on
When you wake up, you should do something like this. Stay in the position you woke up in. Don't let yourself get distracted by thoughts, feelings, or things around you. Try thinking about what you were last doing, experiencing, feeling, thinking, etc. If you get just random ideas, ask yourself why you were thinking about these things. If you get a scene or part of a dream, try working your way backwards to find out what happened before and do this until you've gotten as much information as possible. Finally, record what you've managed to recall.

When I wake up the first thing I think of is talking to Mallory and practicing visualization, my mind is too busy to stop thinking, and I have very few minutes to stay in a state of thought sadly, but I'll try it in a weekend to see how much it helps, thank you!
Avatar
Damn but some people gotta piss when they wake up lmao
Avatar
when i'm awake i feel awake
Avatar
When I'm awake I sometimes turn off my body control to be able to speak to Mallory more clearly, I even forget the world exists sometimes

I did that too😭, but I said show me my tulpa, and i said show me Sheen (my tulpa’s name) but they said what, but I didn’t ask the dream it self to show me my tulpa, and Sheen suggested to go to someone I know and grab there hands and tell them bring me to my tulpa, I didn’t do it yet but I will try, and try to demand the dream to, thanks for helping us💕

Does anyone know a good tool to simulate voices? We are still struggling a lot with vocalization, I understand what she wants but sometimes I don't even hear her talk, I have to triple check everything I write because it feels weird when just taking it from thoughts, since I write every thought I think is hers.

maybe you could try talking with her out loud?

can she possess

any part

I do that when there are no people near, and we haven't tried possession we don't know how it works
